Saber Marionette J Files Part 2: Cherry vs. Luchs & Submarauder
[When we last left, Cherry & Bloodberry received letters supposedly from their beloved & brave master, Otaru Mamiya. Little did they know that this was a trap set up by Faust's Saber Dolls & their new allies, the Decepticon Pretenders. Going on her letter, Cherry went off to the beach to find Otaru as well as her fellow Saber Marionette, Lime]
Cherry: Strange. I don't see Master & Lime anywhere. But who sent me this letter?
Female Voice: (Chuckling) You know, Cherry? For the smartest one, you can be so inept sometimes.
Cherry: Luchs, is that you? Show yourself right now!
Luchs: Hello.
Cherry: So you're the one who wrote that letter.
Luchs: And what if I did?
Cherry: Bring out Lime & Master Otaru now!
Luchs: (Chuckling) I'm afraid you came to the wrong place. You can be so gullible.
Cherry: Luchs, prepare yourself for battle!
Luchs: You won't just be fighting me, Cherry. Say hello to a new friend of mine. Rise, Submarauder!
(At that moment, a la Jaws, Submarauder, in all his fury, leaped out of the waters to begin his attack with Luchs on Cherry)
Submarauder: You rang?
Cherry: Just who the Hell are you?
Submarauder: Your executioner!
Cherry: How dare you deceive me? Unforgivable!
(The battle began. Luchs & Submarauder both attacked Cherry at the same time, but Cherry, due to her specially designed sensors, countered each attack but Luchs, once again due to the same sensors, thwarted Cherry's counterattacks)
Cherry: As usual, Luchs, you're as good as they come.
Luchs: You're not as bad as always.
Submarauder: But we're not gonna be deterred by you! Prepare to die!
(As Submarauder went in for the kill, Cherry used her ground explosion technique & took both him & Luchs down)
Cherry: It's over, you two!
Luchs: That's what you think, my dear Cherry.
Cherry: What do you mean?
Submarauder: Check this out.
(Submarauder did what was expected of him. He split apart his monster shell & revealed his interior robot form)
Cherry: You split apart & you're a robot.
Submarauder: That's not all.
(Submarauder dived back into the water & transformed into his submarine form & continued his attack on Cherry while Luchs & Submarauder's monster form did the same until Cherry was down. Submarauder turned back into his robot form & joined both of them)
Luchs: It's a damn shame we have to kill you, Cherry, but who gives a shit?
Submarauder: Die!
(Just as Submarauder started his attack on Cherry, a blast stopped him from doing so. Both he & Luchs turned around & saw that it was from Submarauder's rival, the Autobot Pretender, Waverider)
Waverider: Leave her alone!
Luchs: You must be one of the Autobot Pretenders.
Cherry: (In her mind) Autobot? Then Submarauder must be a… Decepticon!
Luchs: Damn you! Submarauder, attack!
Submarauder: With pleasure!
(Waverider split apart his human shell to his likewise interior robot form & transformed into his hovercraft form & attacked his Decepticon rival's robot form while his human form took out his monster form)
Waverider: Now leave this beach, you fuck!
Luchs: My, my. You find a way to win, don't you? But I will be back, Cherry! (Retreats with Submarauder)
Cherry: Thank you very much, uh…?
Waverider: I'm Waverider. You must be Cherry.
Cherry: Yes & I'm a Saber Marionette.
Waverider: I've heard about you Sabers. You're marionettes that can think, feel, and reason like human girls because of the maiden circuits.
Cherry: And you're an Autobot, one of the good Transformers.
Waverider: Exactly. Be warned, Cherry. There are 2 more Decepticon Pretenders out there waiting on your friends, but there are 2 more of us to help them.
Cherry: Thanks for the warning. See you later, Waverider.
Waverider: Bye. Be careful.
Cherry: I will.
