Travis, Leon and Rebecca went inside the McDonalds restraunt, ordered, then found a seat. Only then did they get down to business, in fact it was Travis who brought it up. "So what were you able to find out in Antarctica?" he asked.

"Plenty." Rebecca looked around before continuing. "Apparently there was research being conducted on new life forms. There was meant to be something buried there long ago."

"Like what?"

"We don't know what it is exactly," Leon admitted, "and we weren't about to start finding out given what we had been able to uncover."

"Some alien in hibernation?" Travis wondered.

"You know what Rei told you?" Rebecca asked. "What she had done? It seems that what she said is right, and whatever's in Antarctica is responsible for it."

"Holy shit." It took a moment for Travis to comprehend this. "You sure?"

"We had been able to uncover what this thing in Antarctica is meant to be capeable of," Leon told his brother. "It's meant to be a part of how to bring the human race to the next stage of human evolution."

"Someone's been watching too much X Men," Travis figured.

"Don't laugh. The only reason the research failed was because of a power failure. If they'd succeeded, or worse of all failed..."

"Why would it have been worse if they had failed?"

Rebecca filled him in. "We have reason to believe that if something went wrong then whatever power is there could be unleashed. It could mean that what Rei told you, about harvesting the souls of everyone in the world, could happen here."

Travis tried to say something, but couldn't think of what. Just then their food was served. "Um, don't take this the wrong way but I don't think I feel like eating now," he said finally, ending the admission with a shrug.

"Can't say I blame you," Leon said.

"This is bad."

"So it is possible." Leon knew Travis had occasionally felt bad over the way he acted over Rei. Given what she said, and now that her being able to destroy the world, was proven, it seemed to be justified.

"You believe me now?"

"We always had," Leon assured him. "We just had no evidence until now."

"So now what?"

"You know Rei," Rebecca said. Travis gave an offhanded shrug.

"Thought I did."

"Anything you can tell us?"

Travis paused, choosing to eat one of the burgers as he did so. "Maybe a little. She probably is scared of whatever power she has, or at least other people knowing about it. You know she's with Nancy now? Have you asked her?"

"She doesn't think there's a problem?" Leon said. "Didn't even believe us."

"Uh huh. Since this is Rei we're talking about, I want to help."

"We thought you might." Leon sounded concerned. "Given what you've been through, is that for the best?"

Rebecca asked. "You ain't Interpol. You'd never get anywhere near as bad as they are."

"Yes," Leon said, knowing just how bad they were.

"At least have me undergo STARS training. I think I'm up for it. And if she is part of this I'd very much like to work with Jill on this."

"Jill?" Rebecca asked, a little miffed.

"Yeah, Jill. Why not? Leon can help you out, I'd be able to help Jill out with what she may not know."

"Guess we could ask her," Leon said. "If she says yes, you'll help us?"

"I'll even abide by what you tell me," Travis said, "as if I don't already."

"There was that time when you threatened..." Rebecca began.

"Yeah, okay."

"And instead of calling for help, you thought you could smash..." Leon added.

"Alright," Travis conceeded.

"And you ignored advice to..."

"Okay, enough," Travis snapped. "Those days are long gone. Gimme a break."

Rebecca wondered if he was as ready as he thought he was. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Travis nodded. "I'm sure."
