Nancy thought about the question for a moment before replying. "I'm not sure," she told Rose in all honesty. "Would you believe me if the largest pharmacutical company in the world had created a virus that turned people into the undead? That there was a superhuman woman injected with it that could take out an army?" She was of course talking about the infamous incident in Raccoon City. "That happened, you know it happened. But it's so wrong you instantly dismiss it as crazy. Same with this blood stone." A thought entered her mind. "Who else knows about it?"

"They're leaving." Reiko watched what was going on across the street, having changed since Mexico and wanting to tend to this without others interfering. She closed her eyes and thought about how she became this way. Life was strange, Reiko thought, coming about as close to philosophy as she probably ever would. Life's fucked up, she corrected, getting up once the station wagon had gone. Hope she's in the mood for visitors. Fairly running to find out, Reiko rapped her knuckles loudly on the front door.
