"Hmmm." Nancy thought for a moment, noticing that Lucian came right up to Sakura. It struck her that as mature as he could be sometimes whoever this girl was seemed to bring out the boy in him. "Well Lucian seems to like." She crouched down to face her son. "How about it?"

"Yeah, could she stay? Is she going to stay here?"

Nancy got up and looked outside at the shed she had in the back. Things could be organised to accomodate Sakura. "There's a room upstairs that I'll sort out," Nancy said to Sakura. "Can you come back later?"

"Weed?" one of the gangsters asked, bemused, "you fucking shitting us man?" Reiko glanced at them as she came in, before looking for whoever act the crap they served up here and got food poisoning. Judging by what she saw this place was a food hazard.

"Sure I'll be back tomorrow. Thank you." Sakura smiled at Nancy as she left her house. She stopped to take a good look at Nancy's housing before walking back home. "Wow what a big house. It would probably take me two hours to mow the lawn."

Reiko wheeled the man out to the ambulance when things really began to get out of hand. Given how much the situation was out of control she thought someone should do something. "This is Reiko," she said into the radio, "request additional units at my last." Not waiting for an answer she went back in, sidestepping any fights that were taking place. Any other time she would have been all for it but there were more important things right now and she headed right for James. "You run this piece of shit?" she demanded to know.

Nancy was organising Sakura's room when she looked out the window and saw that girl from before. She remembered how Sakura felt when she was abused and dropped the metal box she was going to carry, instead picking up something considerably smaller. "Going out," she said to Lucian. "Be back soon, make sure you do your homework." Nancy made her way to the Land Cruiser. This wouldn't take long.
