"Major, I have arrived." Things seemed to appear normal, however appearences can be decieving. This was meant to be one of the locations that the Mexican guirella fighters were concentrating on, and the recent satallite survailence pass indicated they were grouping together for an attack. One image in particular was of concen, one of Vega Fabio La Cerda, something like one rung from leading Shadowlaw.

What is La Cerda doing there? His appearence was enough to cause a stir, and cause the others shown with him to be examined for identities and backgrounds. There were a few obvious motives...providing weapons to use on American soldiers, trying to smuggle in drug...and the allegations that had brought the FBI's attention. Washington couldn't see someone like Vega using that as his motive, but if people were being kidnapped and butchered then the truth had to come out.

"Agent Francesca." The agent displayed the Bureau identification, knowing that the boarder guards had been informed in advance. "Here to resolve the attacks you are facing."

"Hey fuckface," Reiko growled at Vega, "why don't you tell your friend here about the people you killed." She knew that most of the rebels, not to mention the Spanish ninja himself would not like what she was saying, but she didn't care. She didn't even want to be here in the first place. "Sorry, failed to kill." She knew he'd had tried to murder at least several street fighters.

"This true?" Carlos asked her.

"He's with Shadowlaw." Reiko sensed Shaquille Shabazz behind her.

"That's right, he's a terrorist." Looking out she saw Chavo and yelled out to him. "That man is a terrorist. You're in league with a terrorist."

"Hmm," Carlos mused, watching his brother turn to Vega and ask if the allegations were true, before stepping in front of Reiko. "Seems that my dear Chavo is willing to take things seriously enough to resort to such tactics. Maybe he is beginning to come around," he dared to hope.

"Bullshit." Carlos could see that Reiko was about to mouth off again and thought it time to step in.

"You no longer work for them?" he mused, his face indicating that he was deep in thought.

"You can trust this piece of shit," Reiko nutted in again. Carlos' reply was to raise a hand, indicating for her to be quiet.

"Even if he is, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." It suddenly occured to her that for all the hate Vega had for her Reiko had no idea why. What did she ever do to him? It was something she pondered as Carlos spoke. "If you are not with Shadowlaw then surely you must..." he trailed off as a flatbed truck sped towards them, slowing down behind Chavo and Vega.

"They're gone," the driver told them, "the kids."

"You sure?" Chavo's voice was grave.

"Yes, it was the same black vans that took our women." He waved for Vega to get on the back of the truck. "Come on man, if we hurry we can still catch up to them. There's a machine gun in the back."
