If you would like to be interviewed here by Vega then just send one of the staff here a message and a description about yourself in order to have suitable questions relevant to you. If Vega thinks you are an ideal candidate, he'll ask you all the interview questions.

You don't need a site to be interviewed but it is preferred if you are a Street Fighter fan since it will be easier to ask the questions.

Today's interview is with IWA HOSHI! Iwa, your site is famous for Ryu/Chun Li stuff. Why did you decide to build a site about them?

<Iwa> Well, it started with me hanging out at a fanfic board. http://pub69.ezboard.com/bstreetfighterfanfics (current addy) and I had sent a few pics out at the request of some vetern writers (Night for one). After that I keep forgetting what pics I sent and what I didn't so I just decided to put up a site. Since my fics are about Chun Li and Ryu, I deleted the pics of other fighters to make way for more pics of Chun Li and Ryu.

Where do you buy all your Street Fighter comics and merchandise?

<Iwa> Comics I got from local comic shops, while mangas are ordered at Kinokuniya a major Japanese bookstore. As for stuff like collectibles and action figures it depends on luck. Sometimes I find them in any departmental store while other times I have to hunt them down at specialty stores in town. I don't like using Ebay or online stores as I'm not comfortable with not being able to touch what I want to buy, and the fact that I ain't got no credit card.

Where do you get all the ideas for your Ryu/Chun Li fics? How often do you have a new fic chapter? How often do you update your site?

<Iwa> Ideas for fics come from places I've been to, things that happen to me or around me, books or comics I read or tv shows or movies I had seen, games I played and even a few from dreams. I don't plan my fics much other than certain anchor chapters to lead the fic.

As for new chapters it depends as ideas never come chronologically to me. There are times when I have the starting and ending of a story but never the middle parts until a few months down the road. So I always write down ideas on a notebook to keep for review.

I update my site around the start of the month as my internet time is at its max. I will also update as and when I see fit, like when there are new pics, fics or mistakes in my site.

Do you have any suggestions for other fanfic writers or those wanting to build a Ryu/Chun Li site?

<Iwa> Well, write your fic for yourself because if you don't like your fic it's gonna be tough to write. Write in the style you're most comfortable with. Never be afraid of negative reviews because some will like your fics, some will hate them. Learn as your will find that some time down the road you'll notice improvements.

Builders of RCL (Ryu/Chun Li) sites must be able to accept the notion that there will always be people who like RCL as a couple and people who are against that idea. Isn't it more important that the reason you have a RCL shrine is because you like the idea of them together?

It is also nice to give credit where pics are concern because most site builders put in a lot of effort (blood, sweat, time and money) to get their pics. I do hope that I don't have to email anyone to chew his/her head off when it comes to pics.

Do you have anything to say to all your fans?

<Iwa> I always welcome your email whether you just talk to me about RCL or just anything. And if you wanna send me fanarts send away. Heh. Absolutely Ryu and Chun Li!

That's all the questions I have for you. Thank you for participating in the interview!
