A lot of professional wrestlers have athletic backgrounds. Guys like Chad Gable, Shelton Benjamin, and Brock Lesnar have NCAA caliber backgrounds. Kurt Angle won the gold in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Taller guys like Kevin Nash/Diesel and The Undertaker have backgrounds as basketball players. Guys like Roman Reigns, Goldberg, and Baron Corbin had careers in the NFL as well.
