Thank you everyone, I can now say we are in the final countdown to my airing tomorrow. Wish me luck - and stay safe!
I don't know whether or not I have more airings, after the one on Tuesday - but in light of the sad news about Prince Phillip, yes I will see about giving my profile here, my Facebook profile etc. a British/English makeover, for my next celebration if not if I do have more airings (i.e. if the announcements are still going, after the airing on Tuesday).
Before anyone asks, no I have no immediate decisions on achievements, not least as I'm a little undecided on one or two potential candidate games (i.e. those with a British theme, or with British characters/locations) I already have - hmmm, that's something we need to discuss, including if (and it's a very big IF) I pick up any more when I go shopping this week. Again, remember all remaining 'non-essential' shops can reopen tomorrow, which by law means I can finally return to my haunting grounds - however, in light of the sad news about Prince Phillip, I think for a while it might be toned down a bit...

Still no decision on games to complete, so any votes? That, and again I'll see what airing gifts I can pick up on Friday.

And the first achievement is in, I am pleased to announce my first completion of the NES classic Super Mario Bros. 2 on Sunday April 18 2021. Fun game!
Actually, I chose it because of the Shyguy plush I also had as an airing gift this time. That Shyguy just looked so cute, I knew right away he's coming home with me - so I chose the first achievement (which itself, I'd had as an airing gift) in his honour ^_^

I also have an airing booked for May 4 (AKA Star Wars Day)!
This is extra special for me... as it will be the 18-year anniversary, of the first step toward just why airings mean so much to us as they do today. I suggest we definitely do a site update for that, and for the banner I've submitted a screencap of Bison doing his The Emperor-like lightning attack on Guile.

And the third achievement is in, I am pleased to announce my first completion of the Game Boy game Super Mario Land on Sunday April 25 2021. Another fun classic!
Actually, one of the reasons why I chose it... is because of the tins of Mario Kart candy I've had as airing gifts, I bought them at one of my haunting grounds and yes I do plan to keep the tins, I can store unboxed games in them. The designs on each tin (and the flavour of the candy in each tin) are lucky-dip, but now I have the full set - whichever tin you get means you've won the respective Mario Kart race cups, so I have won all six cups Mushroom, Flower, Star, Shell, Banana and of course Special
