Just thought you'd like to know, yes I am getting Bruiser! I have texted my dad, he is willing to let me pay for Bruiser myself along with Gran paying £25 toward him.
No guarantees he'll be an airing gift, though (it all depends on whether or not I have more airings, after the one tomorrow) - remember, the only new Bucky O'Hare figures which ended up as airing gifts were classic Deadeye and the Astral Projection Jenny, who I had for my first airing celebration without my cat Raul.

Sort of, yes. I have previously had similar apology-based fantasies, usually following rows with mom and dad... so the fantasy about them surprising me with Bruiser came as, uhhh, no surprise. But we agreed, yes I could have him anyway if I paid myself - so I know Slasher will be proud, because Bruiser is another of his crushes.

He's £75. This is from the new line-up of Bucky O'Hare figures, as opposed to the vintage Bucky figures (which were actually how I first heard of Bucky, in the first place).
And with next year (2022) being 30 years since I became a Bucky fan... well, 'nuff said!

Current release, from the new line-up. Also of the new line-up, I have classic and limited edition 'Corsair Canard'  , Astral Projection Jenny, and Stealth Mission Bucky - heck, I actually chose Stealth Mission Bucky over the classic Bucky because, let's face it... Stealth Mission Bucky's uniform colours are reminiscent of Jean-Claude Van Damme Guile's uniform.
However, yes I still also have my vintage Bucky figures -including Bruiser- from 30 years ago. Remember, I coined the 'Spanish Deadeye Month' terminology (for all Deadeye Months when Santa Claude comes to town), after I had a figure in Spanish packaging!

Well, I've had one or two airing gifts thus far, mainly spring/Easter novelties and a few Minions ones from this year's Easter range.
As for my Bucky figures, all of them except Corsair Canard Deadeye Duck were airing gifts - I had classic Deadeye Duck and Astral Projection Jenny, for my first airing celebration without my cat Raul; and Stealth Mission Bucky during one of my celebrations last year.
However, just hours after Corsair Canard Deadeye Duck arrived in Bully Koopa Month 2019... I had the announcement for the first of my airings, for my celebration during which I had my beautiful kitty Thunder as an airing gift 0:-)

Well, I do what I can 0:-)
But whenever any of the holidays approach, I know the respective holiday stock is good candidacy for airing gifts - Easter being no eggception, of course. I have picked up some Easter egg-shaped bath bombs (come on ladies, you have to try bath bombs!), among other things at a nearby precinct - and when I can finally go to town on Friday, I'll see what I can pick up then as well... and, of course, update my sale ID photo at Roy's shop.
If the Lego shop reopens, I dunno if they do anything for Easter - I know they make Christmas decorations (I still have the 'Santa Claude' Lego Guile frame on reserve!), but nothing for Halloween...
