And with regard to considering Yoshimoto being Raul's successor, when planning the memorial... how about playing the charity acoustic version of 'Walk the Earth' by Europe, while Lemmy and the Koopalings raise their magic wands? They could then even wield their wands, for a beautiful performance like to create 'RIP Yoshimoto' and pictures of my cat while the song plays - just imagine it!

"Why 'Walk The Earth'", I hear you ask? I had the standard edition of the album as an airing gift, for my last celebration with Raul. I only found out about it on the day before its release, and Gran happily agreed to buy it for me - she agreed to reimburse me the £10 for it. Inevitably, I informed good old Roy about the album, and he played the title track for me in his shop - again, what mere 'businessman' would spoil his customers rotten right down to her tastes in music, right?

I then bought the special edition of the album -along with a live-recording album, of Europe's Final Countdown 30th Anniversary show- while out Christmas shopping, over my last Christmas with Raul. Because I didn't have airings at that point, obviously I had to wait until my first airing celebration without Raul to test out these albums.

I had initially considered the song like if anyone asked about a funeral for Yoshimoto, be it {A} his entrance music, as his pall-bearers Kunzite and Rufus bring in the coffin; or {B} once the service is complete, six people dressed as penguins carry his body into the water (one would be batty, not to get the reference...), and we all throw roses over him as he sinks down - but... some hooligans might 'attack' us, over that yes it would be open-casket.

And yes, I chose Kunzite as one of the pall-bearers, so he can say goodbye to the "Indeed very beautiful" cat who I showed him all those pictures of; and Rufus because, may I remind you, that the day Yoshimoto died was, in fact, Rufus's birthday in the Street Fighter games.

Yes, that's right. Heck, bearing in mind the international theme of Street Fighter, and with Japan being one of the countries... another idea I had for the memorial, is that Japanese funeral tradition of lighting candles in a boat and sending them along the river (see the funeral scene in Karate Kid Part II, for reference).

That, and I still need to clear my lungs, after what Donut Lord has done to my family. My parents won't even let me open the front door to their house, in case it's him...

Not exactly - they want to keep me safe, in case Donut Lord gets really horrible with me like he did just before Yoshimoto took ill; and the point of him being horrid to Gran sure hit my parents' berserk button. He still goes over to the house, like to collect snail mail - but were it up to me, I'd make sure a restraining order was enforced on Donut Lord, and his snail mail was diverted to... wherever the fuck he's staying now...

But that's not all. With my being an aunt, as of my airing day January 22 2020... yes, I think it goes without saying, how we must also protect Donut Lord's ex and my beautiful 1-year-old niece...

Not to mention, in the case of Yoshimoto... I dread to think how Donut Lord may be horrible, that we had to especially protect Yoshimoto while I still had all of those airings coming out of my ears! Like other peeps I know, he clearly enjoys pushing my buttons (in some cases, literally) - so I shudder at him possibly being all like "Oh boo-fucking-hoo, you had to protect that stupid cat just because of your precious {insert nasty words here} Street Fighter movie, which is so bad it killed Raul Julia AND Dennis Hopper"...
