As you guys know, I'm a wrestling fanatic and walking encyclopedia of knowledge of it. I spent a couple years in the business. It was on a smaller scale, but I got to work with people I grew up watching on TV.
A lot of people say wrestling is fake. It's scripted. Let me fill you in. Yes, it is scripted. Yes, it's pre-determined. But so are movies. So are TV shows. So are most celebrities. It is entertainment. But the consequences are very real. The chairs, ladders, and tables are real. The injuries are very real. People have died for the art of their craft. Darren Drozdov (aka Droz) had his career ended over a botched move, and is now a paraplegic. Hayabusa, a legendary wrestler from Japan, cracked two vertabrae after his foot slipped on a rope and landed on his head. He lived, however he sadly passed away in 2016 from a cerebral hemorrhage. Enough with the doom and gloom...
