The SuperBeast Chronicles 30

Mike had noticed a note on his kitchen table when he had woken up.

Mike: What's this? The wall is back up. A note?

"Surprise. Couldn't stay long. Ken is dragging me off to somewhere in the States. Wouldn't say where. We'll be safe. I know how you worry. Give my love to Cammy. Take care, brother. -Ryu"

Mike: Oh wow. Well that was brief. Much like everything in my life.

Mike cracks his back, and limps over to the couch. His legs hadn't woken up yet. He turns on the TV. He flips through the channels and puts on the news. Nothing out of the ordinary. He hears loud banging noises outside. He goes outside to investigate. The house next to him that was empty was finally being moved into. He gets a closer look as he goes out for a cigarette. He notices a team of men bringing in gym equipment.

Mike: Oh, they're turning it into a gym. That's nice.

He looks at his suggested posts on Facebook. His eyes widen up. He drops his cigarette in the grass.

Mike: Goddammit...

His Facebook reads...

"TODAY! GRAND RE-OPENING! JOIN DAN HIBIKI'S SAIKYO DOJO! LEARN THE SECRETS OF THE ONE AND ONLY SAIKYO IN IZUNA! COME BY FOR A FREE CLASS! DON'T FORGET THE BATHHOUSE IN THE BACK OF THE DOJO!"

Mike: Oh god...
